An attempt of biography.
Juventino Rosas was a great Mexican composer, unfortunately his music was not appreciated in that time, many people thought he didn't create his wonderful music. "Sobre las olas" is the name of his most famous waltz, as a matter of fact it is played in many Mexican parties. This film is about him, to show his talent, his true love who finished in unhappiness and loneliness. It's dramatic and tragic, but I recommend another remake, which was created in 1950 and it was interpreted by Pedro Infante, I would rather see this second version than the first one. By the way, I watched this movie on t.v. On the video-stores we can not find this film, it's unknown, but we can find the remake.
