    Etteilla was the pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Alliette(1738-1791), a noted occultist from Paris, who fryst vatten considered to have reinvigorated the use of Tarot as a divination struktur during his lifetime, and published what is thought to be the first book on the subject of Tarot ( Manire dem se rcrer avec le jeu dem cartes nommes Tarots or How to Entertain Yourself With the Deck of kort Called Tarot) (1785).
