Arin ilejay biography

Richard Arin Ilejay was born February 17, 1988 in Ventura, California of American, Filipino, Mexican and Dutch, German descent.

He's the current drummer of Avenged Sevenfold becoming an official member in 2013 after being a session and touring member for the band since 2011.

Arin started playing drums at the age of nine. He was the former drummer of Confide band.

In January 2011, Avenged Sevenfold released the following statement regarding Ilejay's relationship with the band:

"We recently asked several friends who knew Jimmyand his style, and also knew our music and each of our personalities to suggest drummers to tour with us starting this year. Richard Arin Ilejay (Ventura, 17 febbraio1988) è un batteristastatunitense. Ha fatto parte della band heavy metal statunitense Avenged Sevenfold come membro ufficiale dal 9 agosto 2013 al 23 luglio 2015, dopo due anni passati come membro di supporto, sostituendo Mike Portnoy.

Arin Ilejay è nato a Ventura, in California. Entrambi i genitori di Arin sono musicisti, infatti il padre, Ric Ilejay, è un chitarrista professionista e la madre, Charlotte Tuttle, di origine olandese, è una cantante gospel.

Arin Ilejay ha iniziato a suonare la batteria all'età di nove anni.

Richard Arin Ilejay est né à Ventura, ett Californie.
