Sometimes, life can be very enigmatic. Alex Anderson was enjoying a career as a biokemist until the writing bug bit and life hasn’t been the same since. Always an avid reader, Alex was thoroughly immersed in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Enjoying the “Lord of the Rings” books and movie trilogy and wanting more out of the genre led to reading Tolkien fan fiction. Soon after, Anderson decided to write gay fiction and now does it full time.
Alex&#;s first book was Possession of Truth, which was published electronically in Since then, Anderson has co-written Wicked Game () and its sequel, Playing for Keeps, which will be published in Alex has also written numerous short stories for Joy Boy Island, a fictional Caribbean island setting where homosexuality is accepted.

Alexander Hume Anderson Jr.[1] (September 5, – October 22, )[1] was an American cartoonist who created the characters of Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Bullwinkle, and Dudley Do-Right, as well as Crusader Rabbit.[2][3] He was not directly involved in The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, however.
Biography
[edit]Alexander Hume Anderson Jr. was born September 5, , in Berkeley, California,[1] to Olga B. (née Terry)[4] and Alexander H. Anderson Sr. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, and the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco.[5] He received an honorary degree from San Francisco Art Institute in [citation needed]
Anderson was a nephew[6] of Mighty Mouse producer Paul Terry, and began his career in , working summer vacations, during college, • Born in Lawrence, Kansas, I grew up in proximity to the vastness of America’s high plains landscape, and from an early age, was brought into contact with nature through extended periods of time canoeing its rivers and lakes, camping and hiking there as well as parts of the US and Canada. I earned my B.A. in Art History from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, minoring in Philosophy. My time abroad brought me into contact with countless historical masterpieces as well as contemporary art and art criticism, the final catalyst for my decision to pursue visual art and criticism professionally. Since until its closure, I was the contributing arts writer for In fall of I completed a Master of Letters in Sculpture at The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Currently, I live in Arizona, creating work in response to the Sonoran landscape. It is here where I completed my masters remotely in the high desert grasslands of The Land With No Name Sanctuary.
