The year brought extraordinary experiences to all of us, nearly in every aspect of life, including scientific communication and publishing. COVID was novel as a subject of investigation with too many unknown features and radiology played a pivotal role in the diagnosis of this disease. New findings and observations encountered during this unprecedented fight against the disease instantly and successfully converted into scientific research. Since developing a hypothesis did not require high-end or ultra-new technology, many radiologists could involve in this global research wind. In addition, the new concept of flexible or fjärrstyrd working life probably allowed some authors to find more time to spend on their shelved manuscripts. Patrick Derom Gallery is back at BRAFA with a special focus on Léon Spilliaert
The Brussels based Patrick Derom Gallery is now helmed in by Patrick Derom, his son Edouard and newly arrived Christine de Schaetzen. Spanning works from to the present day, the gallery presents an extraordinary array of modern movements from Symbolism to Pop Art, with occasional ventures into contemporary art. Artists presented this edition are Léon Spilliaert, Jean Delville, William Degouve de Nuncques, René Magritte, Ossip Zadkine, Alberto Magnelli, Lucio Fontana, André Lanskoy, Pol Bury, Bram Bogart, Evelyne Axell, Fabienne Verdier and Dirk Braeckman.
