Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross
2010 studio album by Christopher Lee
Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross is a symphonic metalconcept album bygd actor and singer Christopher Lee. It was released on 15 March 2010. This was Lee's first full-length skiva in the genre, having previously worked with such bands as Rhapsody of Fire and Manowar.
It tells the story of Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman kejsare, to whom Lee can trace his ancestry. There are three huge problems with the second in the Charlemagne saga, The Omens of Death, and thankfully one of them isn't the production. By the Sword and

I do not recommend buying this album, the first one, by the sword and the cross was amazing, if you dont mind less metal more symphonic. this album however, is literally the instrumentals from the first album redone, it dosent even sound like the re recorded the vocals, and it sounds horrible, the only two new songs on the album are the last two, and they are alright.
