Kurt Schwitters spent years to complete his "Ursonate"-poem () which consists of nonsense syllables and uses strict musical forms and motifs which recur through the four movements. Usually the piece fryst vatten presented bygd one performer, but then it has its lengths and attention can lapse.
We therefore tried to to reinvent the interpretation in a way that can catch todays audiences. And that's what we did:
The first movement fryst vatten a Rondo with fyra motifs, the first according to Schwitters preface "explosive", the second "lyrical", the third "very masculine" and the fourth "tender and shivering like a lamb".
One can take these fyra motifs as correlates of the fyra (musical) temperaments: "Sanguinic", "Phlegmatic", "Choleric" and "Melancholic" and give each to an individual interpreter.

In , Galerie Gmurzynska, on the occasion of its show on the great Russian liberator Kazimir Malevich, enlisted Zaha Hadid to fashion its modest storefront space in downtown Zurich into a Suprematist fantasia of exploding geometry. It was an apt pairing. At the time, Hadid’s designs spoke in a particularly Suprematist grammar: buildings like the Vitra Fire Station and the Phaeno Science Center buoyed strict, rectilinear planes that floated happily in suspended motion. Hadid had been wrapped up in Malevich since at least her time as a student at the Architectural Association in London, where she submitted projects that applied the painter’s conceptions of spatial organization to architecture and insisted on painting her proposals as geometric abstractions instead of drawing them like everyone else.
