Eulogies As William Ibori Is Laid To Rest
Asaba – To the regular passersby of Oghara, a relatively rustic part of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Ogharefe is just another community. But Friday, November 2, despair, grief, sorrow with a tinge of hope and satisfaction for a well spent life was thick in the air. And beneath the quiet and rather sullen mien of Elizabeth, wife of the late High Chief William Ibori, JP, a retired goal keeper and horticulturist, was an undertone of gratitude to God for an accomplished life.
Ensconced in one of the sofas of a neat living room at his country home in Ogharefe, she received guests who trickled in to offer their condolences. ‘’l have lost a very good friend, loving husband and confidant that was always there to support and listen to me attentively. Words cannot explain how much l miss you. I don’t think you ever imagined how much pain l would be in, once you were gone, because if you had; you wouldn’t have left me
