The Bay of Life Exhibit by Frans Lanting and Chris Eckstrom at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History is coming to a close, so we wanted to share one final glimpse. From wind to whales, and land to sea, Frans and Chris provide a unified view of the beauty and biodiversity of Monterey Bay. It features images by Frans Lanting along with historical photographs from the era of exploitation, contemporary images of the fabulous underwater realms of Monterey Bay, maps, and other interpretive materials.

TeamBay recently had the privilege of attending a special employee event at the gallery, and it was a pleasure to see our handcrafted work out in the wild! We produced over 60 Framed Prints, featuring Epson Exhibition Fiber Fine Art Paper, our Black Box Frame, and Single White Mat for each piece.

Our Studio will be open again to visitors as we participate in Santa Cruz County&#;s annual Open Studios Art Tour. This is a great opportunity to meet Frans and Chris in person and see a display of Frans Lanting’s iconic images from around the world and close to home. Limited edition fine art prints and signed copies of our books will be for sale.

Frans and Chris will speak about their work and the images on display each day at PM.

Our Studio is located just three blocks off Highway One, on the Westside of Santa Cruz.

Monterey Bay is the hottest hot spot for biodiversity in all of North amerika, according to The natur Conservancy. It is a place of giants, from redwood forests on nation to forests of kelp offshore. monterey Bay supports iconic wildlife from secretive mountain lions to majestic blue whales. All survive in a region where far-flung migrants mix with rare local species that live nowhere else in the world.
